Is there any way that I can share reports with various people and give them the ability to edit information through their report without sharing the main sheet with them? In other words, giving them write access through the report, but not allowing them to see, open, write on, or access the main sheet in any way? They…
Hello, I hope someone out there can help. For some reason today I can't see the checkboxes on my sheet or the symbols when editing the column type. I can't see the symbols on the sheet or in the dialog box that pops up when trying to change the symbol type. I can see symbols in columns on an old sheet where the column was…
We would like Smartsheet to provide a mechanism to do a full backup and restore of related files. While a step in the right direction is the ability to restore to a previous version of a sheet, we find that in an integrated environment, this would not be sufficient: We have a single worksheet that drives multiple reports…
I know I can create a column to only include the date from the ticket was submitted and another for calculating the business days. However, I'd like to auto-populate the deadlines based on the triage options. Based on the selection of Triage options auto-populate a deadline from the time the ticket was submitted: Tier 1 –…
We are wondering if anyone knows how to build a public facing sheet that has a search box where customers could type in a word or two and then have it return any hits. The data that would be searched could be linked to another sheet and that file would not need to be viewable on the public one. Is this possible?
Hello, I would like to randomly assign service representatives tasks, but only those who meet the criteria of already completing a task previously assigned to them. I would like to create a workflow or formula that would assign individuals on their availability and at random. Any suggestions?
I've used the Lookup formula to find hours per work order number. Until today, the formula reported "0" in the event the lookup value was not found. As of either Jan. 17 or 18 (today), it now reports "#NO MATCH" when the lookup value is not found. Did something change recently with the way this formula works?
I have a form set up for users to submit when requesting our service, and I'd like to create a way for that client to confirm they received the product at the end without having to send e-mails back and forth or have them physically sign anything. I don't want to give users access to my sheet or reports. It seems that…
Would be very helpful to create a formula range from a report, and not just from a sheet. This is helpful to pull in data that is organized in a different way in reports vs sheets.
