Hide or unhide rows in your sheet to show just the data that you need/want to see

Would you mind explaining your idea a little more?
Is this a different feature to adding Filters on a sheet to hide rows (see here), or using hierarchy to collapse rows (see here)?

Yes, my idea is that there be a feature way we can hide rows in an identical fashion to how we currently hide columns.
Hope that helps.
Also looking for this feature, it is quite an essential/ fundamental one.
I'm looking for this option also. Need to show a line inactive once project is complete and invoiced but still be able to go back to it in future like a check box or field that shows all in active
