As a short-term or quick fix, might I recommend using an "Update Request" automation instead? ( https://help.smartsheet.com/learning-track/smartsheet-intermediate/update-requests ) Update requests allow you to send a one-time-use form that is automatically generated and populated based on whatever row and columns you choose to trigger it on. And it can be sent to external users by adjusting the automation permissions to "Unrestricted."
