Per the 1.5 years of queries being made, I believe there is suitable interest from the Community that Smartsheet provides the basic functionality of being able to print a Grouped Report. The system currently reverts the Report to a basic Sheet when Print is selected. This is not suitable or acceptable.
We've stopped developing our Smartsheet documents due to this restriction and now sit in a holding pattern waiting for an update. - See Printing Grouped Reports - Page 3 — Smartsheet Community.

Looks like this hasn't been updated in two years. It is a serious need for us to be able to export and use these grouped summaries for reporting etc and can see there are many others who also need this functionality. This is big make or break for moving certain systems out of excel and into smartsheet.
Do we have any update on what we can expect here?

+1…seems like beyond a fundamental miss on the part of SmSheet.
Please, please add this functionality. Even as just a pdf. It is not reasonable to expect us to create a dashboard and print in order to save a grouped/summarized report. We need to be able to export, email, and save grouped reports.

it would be great to be able to print reports with the groupings that are visible when viewing the report. Reports are great for sharing tailored information without sharing the whole source sheet, which may contain information you don't want all users to access. This utility is limited when report viewers can't print the report with the same data format as when viewing the report. Thanks for considering this update!
This is especially needed because Reports don't show/retain any hierarchy from the source sheet, so sometimes those have to be enforced through grouping, which is lost upon exporting & printing.
Hoping this can be addressed in the near future!
