We have already upgraded and are impacted by the lack of compatibility with the Jira Connector and Jira v10. Considering that the Smartsheet Jira Connector is a paid premium offering, I believe it should be maintained as often as there are releases with the tools you offer integrations. Jira v10 was released on August 22nd, 2024.
We have already upgraded and are impacted. We have many different JIRA interfaces spanning multiple project teams and all are impacted. JIRA 10.X came out last August and we upgraded in March. For it to still not be supported puts our project teams who count on it in a poor position. I have been promoting the dashboards as being real-time and know at best they are weekly. As this is taking so long to get addressed we are now forced to look at alternatives.
We began planning for Jira 10 (Data Center) migration in Q4 last year and in Q1 of this year, we upgraded our Jira staging environment and tested all of our existing API integrations. We have dozens of integrations both with other vendors and internal tooling. Smartsheet is the only integration that does not support Jira 10 and we delayed the production upgrade due to Smartsheet to avoid breaking all of our Jira-Smartsheet connectors.
At this point, Atlassian no longer supports version 9. When we log into Jira as admins, we see a message that says our version no longer receives security and bug fixes and tells us to upgrade to Jira 10.
Our current Jira version does not have any security vulnerabilities reported, but as soon as one comes in we are going to have a compliance requirement to upgrade. Jira is a core part of our company's tech stack. If we are forced to upgrade Jira and all of our Smartsheet connectors break, we are going to have a lot of people upset with Smartsheet.
This could potentially have an impact on our decision to renew going forward. Not just the fact that Smartsheet connectors seem likely to break when/if we are forced to upgrade to 10, but also because Smartsheet stands out from our other vendors in terms of poor integration support with a key application in our tech stack.
We have already upgraded because Jira Version 9 is no longer in support and Infosec mandated (as they should!). Jira v10 was released on August 22nd, 2024. Considering that the Smartsheet Jira Connector is a paid offering, how is this even a question?

Atlassian no longer support Jira 9 on security update. Our Smartsheet jira connect is broken. Please bring Smartsheet to Jira 10 as soon as possible.
We upgraded a few weeks ago not knowing that Jira V10 wasn't supported by the Smartsheet Jira Connector. We are at a standstill waiting for a response on when it might be supported, and this has drastically affected our teams' ability to operate efficiently. Not sure how long we can hold on before looking for a Smartsheet alternative.
Was just looking into Jira and will probably wait now.

We upgrade and are screwed with no working connector. Jira 10.0.0 was release back on August 22, 2024Jira 10.3 LTS (Long term support release that most enterprises use) was released back on December 5th 2024Jira 9.12 LTS is end of life Nov 2025
