It would greatly increase efficiency if we could move attachments between rows by drag and dropping them. Please let me know if this is something that can be added.
It would be much appreciated if I had a way to move an attachment already on a row to a different row, whether it was a specific or a new row using the attachment as a starting point.

I concur. The more I use Smartsheets, the less intuitive it appears. I frequently encounter problems where attachments or comments are mistakenly added to the wrong row. As it stands, there's no quick way to transfer these to the correct row without having to recreate the data. This straightforward, fundamental feature has been requested by users for five years now.
And, have all the comments and attachments carry over when you copy/paste a row on the same sheet.
Is there a feature where you can copy attachments to another row without having to download them all and reattach to the row? This would involve copying to the "same" sheet, and not sheet to sheet.
Ability to drag and drop attachments or proofs from 1 row to another row
Hi @Austin Urban JCI, if you're still looking for a way to capture attachment names in a column, we've developed something at Prodactive that does just that!
It would be GREAT is you could move attachments already within worksheet to specific rows of the worksheet. Sometimes attachments are uploaded to incorrect row. Having to delete the attachment from i.e., row 15 and then upload to row 35 is cumbersome!

This would be a really amazing enhancement - along with the ability to drag a Sheet attachment into a Row.
It would be nice to be able to move files from 1 row to another. Also to be able to print an attachment directly from the sheet instead of having to download and then print. Its inefficient.
A "drag and drop" option to order attachments would be very helpful for my team!
I love the idea of drag and drop. I think organizing attachments would help make things easier to review.
Our organization extensively uses the attachment feature, and in one particular sheet we keep the files in chronological order from oldest to newest. However, if we need to retroactively add a file for a previous year, we need to download and delete several files, attach the old file, then reattach all the newer files to maintain the date order. If we could drag to re-order the files in the attachment list, this wouldn't be an issue.
And to move between attachments contained in within the same row or Sheet without having to select the related row (in sequence) before being able to see the relevant attachment. It would be helpful if the Smartsheet attachment window operated much like opening attachments in Gmail and being able to move between each attachment within the same preview window.
