I built a sheet to track schedules with several trades with start and end dates for tasks. I created an automation that would check a box in column "Needs Confirmed with Trade" if I changed the start or end date and the mentioned checkbox is unchecked. Then I have conditional formatting highlight the row if this is checked - reminding me that I need to confirm the new date(s).
This was working for months. Now, it will check the box if I move one of the dates, but it will now eternally do this for the row, even after I've unchecked the box and saved (without changing dates again).
Formula I have:
Trigger when rows are added or changed when Start Date changes to any value or when Finish Date changes to any value —>
Where Needs Confirmed with Trade is not checked —>
Change cell value in: Needs Confirmed with Trade to checked
Does anyone know why this would now eternally trigger for me when it was working as intended for months?
I'm happy to provide any further explanation if needed!
