Transfer Single Asset Ownership as an Administrator?

Is there a way, as the Smartsheet Administrator, to transfer ownership of a SINGLE workspace from one user to another, with or without requiring confirmation from any users?

I know how to transfer ALL assets from one user to anther using the admin tool. However, I'm looking for a tool that let's you specify the workspaceID or sheetID etc to transfer, without requiring the confirmation from the individual user.

There doesn't appear to be an API call out there except for viewing logs where it took place.

EG.

Workspace ID: 123456
Current Workspace owner: Bob@test.com
Target Workspace Owner: Sam@smith.com

Any ideas?

PS. I tried using the API /shares?assetType=workspace but i get an error code 1026, "Transferring ownership is not currently supported."

That is correct. The API can't manage it. I believe it did at one point, but I know it doesn't now.

You have unfortunately found pretty much everything there is to find. Single asset ownership transfer is a manual process.
