As a project manager at NJIT, one area I am exploring is how AI agents and MCP can reduce the manual work required to keep project information current in Smartsheet.
Today, a lot of project management still depends on collecting updates, reviewing overdue tasks, identifying dependencies, and preparing status reports for leadership.
My question for the community is: how are you using AI or MCP to automate these activities while still maintaining good governance and control over what an agent can update in Smartsheet?
I am especially interested in real project management use cases and lessons learned from implementations.
