Is it possible to create a question item where the user can select more than one answer - using the standard Shift or Ctrl keys - or some other way?
I'm setting up my first Smartsheet ... Thanks.
This is something I would love to see Smartsheet add in, however as far as I can tell there really isn't a way to do this other than to create a column for each choice you want the user to be able to select (& then set-up each column as a check-box).
The issue with muliple-choice options based on a drop-down list for example, is that Smartsheet would have to architect a way for multiple data points to populate the sheet (a cell can only really have one data point/answer - not many).
Hope this helps and good luck!
Smartsheets has a good explanation on the "Tips from Support" help page. Here is the link (it's item #3:

Hi all,
Good news! It's coming!
Hi everyone,
I'm pleased to announce that the Multi Select Dropdown project is in development.
The functionality Robert Meisch mentioned above (dynamically populate a drop down list from a selected range in a sheet?) is in early stages of research and we're hoping to have that out this year.
Thank you for the passion, and thanks for the patience.
Kara
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic weekend!
Best,
