Hello,
I need that the data insert in a cell (column Data Open) will be automatically determined in relation to the data when the related cell of the row was ticked.
Could you please help me?
Thanks and regards.
Hi,
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
Have a fantastic week!

as indicated in the screenshot, I need that when I tick a field of the Status columns, automatically the system update the related field Data with the insert tick data.
Antonio
If I understand correctly then it would probably work. Would the data be on the same row or always like you show in the screenshot?
Andrée
At moment we insert the data manually. We need that the columns Data should be update automatically with the system data, related to when the user tick the specific status. For example, We want that user tick today a cell of the "Status open" and the system automatically will update the related field "Data open" with the today data.
As of right now, there is no way to timestamp a specific action within Smartsheet. To be able to do this, you would need to either use a 3rd party app such as Zapier or the Smartsheet API.
Do you want to timestamp cells? Not sure that is what you're asking.
If yes, Paul is correct, and I'd recommend the third-party integration called Zapier.
excus me if my description is not clear. I need that:
In this case, yes. You will need an outside app to automate this. Andree suggests Zapier, and from what I can tell that's a pretty good choice.
Ok, thanks a lot.
Happy to help.
It definitely sounds like Zapier would work excellent for what you need.
Let me know if I can help in any way!
Happy to help!
Hi all, I am trying to build out a formula that will return "True" if the CIF #@row can be found above it in the same column (CIF #) AND the Days Since Created is between 30 - 365 days. All of the formulas I have tried have only gotten me so far as the "AND". Adding in the dates screws it up. The goal is to determine if…
I am getting a lot of REF errors for my predecessors and I can't figure out why. At first I thought I might have REF for predecessors to predecessors but that's not the case. When I export the file into Excel it shows the IDs in the place where it shows REF in SS. Each time I refresh the file I feel like different values…
I am trying to create a sheet summary, where the field is a formula that relies on a contact card within a column. However, it keeps returning a result of "#NO MATCH". The columns involved are, 1:) Priority (symbol column) for Up, Unchanged, and Down, and 2:) Contact Card column. I am trying to get a sheet summary formula…
