Hi there,
I am trying to link to a master schedule but adding some additional days to define my drop dates.
Please help.
Thanks.
Hi,
Are you using cross-sheet formulas or cell-links?
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.
Have a fantastic week!

Hi Andree,
I am using cell links. I have one sheet which I want to link to another sheet but want to add some additional days to my sheet while maintaining the Link to the other sheet.
I tried this formula in my sheet:
=({mastersheetlink} + [15days])
But it doesn't work.
I just tried this formula and it work within the same sheet. I am trying to link my date to another sheet is my whole point. So that if the other person on the other sheet changes her date, mine automatically calculates my new date and updates it.
=[Source Data Cell] + [Desired Number of Calendar Days]
Let me know how I can change the source data cell to link to another sheet?
Thank you,
Ridix
Happy to help!
When cell-linking, you can't do anything with that value in the same cell so the solution would be to add a column for the cell-linked value and then do the calculation as needed in the main column.
Another way to structure it would be to use a cross-sheet formula instead and then it would work in the same cell.
Which method would you prefer?
I am trying to create a sheet summary, where the field is a formula that relies on a contact card within a column. However, it keeps returning a result of "#NO MATCH". The columns involved are, 1:) Priority (symbol column) for Up, Unchanged, and Down, and 2:) Contact Card column. I am trying to get a sheet summary formula…
Hello, I have a workflow where, when a team member checks a checkbox, Smartsheet automatically sends an email to themselves containing merge fields that are used as a customer email draft. The challenge is that this activity typically happens on a deadline day, and a team member may need to generate 30 or more of these…
Hi all, reaching out to see if of you have ideas; I'm hoping this makes sense: I'm having some trouble getting my formulas to pull data in correctly. I currently have a sheet (primary data) where I have data in rows where each row is a single project, with columns identifying persons, $ values, unique project identifier,…
