This would allow the user to access additional information when completing the form. I have placed a link to some information in another sheet but the link is long. I know there are applications that shorten urls but I would prefer to hyperlink the text.
Right click on the cell you want to have the link.
Choose Hyperlink...
Paste in your long Hyperlink.
Type whatever you want into them to read in the "Display Text" field.

Yes, that works well linking a cell. I am interested in linking text in a form. For instance, sending the form user to a website for more explanation about what is required when completing the form.
Ah sorry I missed the "form" part, it all makes more sense now, since I too do not know the answer!
