I am troubleshooting a formula using a help example.
My formula is in a date format cell and references a date format cell with a value of 03/01/18
=[DPP Start Date]49 + 5
The result is 03/01/185
What is wrong with my syntax?
That is bizarre. And shouldn't be showing up like that. I would contact support and find out what is going on. When you say date formatted cell... Do you mean Date formatted column type? If you right-click on the column header, and choose Properties does it show Date or Number as your Column type? It should be set to date.
Hi Mike, I meant date formatted columns. It is bizarre because when I try other calculations like =[DPP Start Date]49 + (30*0.4) it returns an 03/01/1812.
If I enter =[DPP Start Date]49 - 5 ir returns #INVALID OPERATION
I will note that I am in a 30 day trial period of Smartsheets
I would contact support and see what they have to say. I doubt that being on a 30day trial would be an issue.
Is the column you are pulling the date from a Date Formatted column?

When i try to send or print the timeline view instead of showing the progression bars like they do on the screen it only send the data entered and not a graph type view to print. Is there a way to do this. I am using a mac platform if that helps.
