I am starting to evaluate resource management using Smartsheet. What I have been able to determine so far is that a resource must be assigned and allocated to a task in order view allocation % across projects. Is it possible to set up an organizational view where I can view all resources in my group and see to which projects they are allocated and how much? I would really like to be able to assign and allocate resources to tasks in projects and then grab an additional organizational view as well. Is this possible? Thanks
Yes, that an be done. My company does it. I am not sure how it was set up, but It can be done.
Hi Tom-- Check out this article from our Help Center on setting up Resource Views. I think you'll find exactly what you need, as you can create account-level Resource Views from the Home tab, and view project-level Resource Views within a sheet.
