I ran into an issue when creating a new workflow in Bridge and got the following error:
"You have reached the maximum number of repeated schedules for workflows in your account. You must reduce the number currently used to be able to create new schedules."
This took me by surprise since I couldn’t find these limits documented anywhere.
Support confirmed there’s a limit of:
- 40 repeating schedules
- 20 one-time schedules
(per Bridge account)
This has a pretty big impact if you’re using dynamic scheduling, and it’s not mentioned in the docs at all.
If anyone has run into this and has found a good workaround (other than a single parent schedule triggering child workflows), I’d be interested to hear it. I’m trying to avoid stacking everything into one flow in case a failure blocks everything downstream.
Also worth noting—this took over 2 weeks to get a response on a time-sensitive ticket, and it was closed right away with no chance to follow up. Would be good to get some clarity from Smartsheet on whether this is something they plan to address and why it isn’t documented.
