Is it possible for Smartsheet to make attachments (e.g. word, spreadsheet documents) editable by opening it directly from smartsheet?
Hi John—we don't have in browser file editing software availabe within Smartsheet. I'll add your vote for this to our enhancement request list for further consideration. From having conversations with our Product team on this, it takes quite a bit of work just to display word, excel, and powerpoint files in a read only fashion in Smartsheet—let alone offer editing tools for such documents entirely in the browser.
