Is it possible to use Month 1, Month 2, Month 3, etc. instead of actual date names (Jan, Feb, Mar) in the heading?

The only display format for months in a project's Gantt Timeline that we have at the moment are:
But you can submit an enhancement request for this functionality here so it can be considered by our development team for future implementations.
