Hello,
I am new to Smartsheets and am creating a form to send out and collect orders from customers. Now the form works but I need it to populate the new rows that get added with pricing from another sheet. Is this possible as I am not finding any info on this but then again I am new to the site. I would also like to know how to email the total amount back to the customers email address for them to keep a record of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Eric
Hello Eric,
You can do this by creating cell links from your pricing sheet to your sheet with the form. Currently, this is a manual process; details on cell links are available here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/861579-cell-linking
You can then email the rows out to people with an automated change notification based on the linked cell data. More info on creating automatic notifications can be found here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/542904-using-notifications
