Is there a way to lock a single cell instead of an entire row / column? I do not want to lock the users from entering data on the entire row / column, but I do want to protect a formula(s) in certain cells.
Include me in this vote - just introducing Smart Sheets to my department, and I would really like to limit my colleagues ability to "break" it .

+1 This could be very useful to help prevent someone from accidentally breaking a sheet will important formulas in it.

I agree this functionality should be added -- I also need the ability to lock selected cells within a row.
Holy moly. I'm trying to set things up for my organization and it seems like 75% of the functions I need aren't supported, and the same percentage of workarounds I can think of ALSO aren't supported!
No buyer's remorse yet but Smartsheet sure isn't as versatile as I presumed...
Locking a single cell is an example of a workaround. +1 vote from me.
