Is it possible to set Smartsheet up to automatically log off users due to a period of inactivity?
I too need to know this! Thanks.
Hello all—
There isn't a way within Smartsheet to configure an automatic sign out after a period of inactivity.
If you have SAML configured for your plan, you might explore if this is an option that your SSO provider has. More on SAML and Smartsheet can be found in our Help Center: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2476141-configure-saml-sso
I assume you mean log OTHER users off.
What issue are you trying to solve?
The only problem I have encountered is someone editing the sheet without refreshing after being away for a period of time. That can happens even when they are not away, so is more of a operator issue than a platform one, in my opinion.
Is it that or something else?
Craig
I am talking about setting up SmartSheet for my organization so that after x number of inactive minutes, it automatically signs out. We do not want the website to stay logged all day if staff are not actively using it. Is this possible?
