Freeze date
Is there a way to freeze a date =today() if a date field is controlled by a check box field once 24 hours passes? If check box checked = today. Excel suggests using vba. I am not certain if there is a way in SS to do this type of function without the date changing. Thoughts...suggestions?
Altering Attachments

MS Project has the capability to maintain duration in days or weeks independently of work (hours). Does this capability exist in Smartsheet?

Adding a divider to split data
A co-worker who has since left the company created a sheet that has split the information on the sheet into 2 sections, so that it is separated by a divider. I've attached a photo showing the divider: Anyone know how to do this?
Locked is greyed out in pull-down menu
I have a spreadsheet that was shared with me. I made a copyu of it so now I am the owner. I would like to make it into a template, but prefer to lock the formula columns. However, even if I stand on my head, I can't get the the locking feature to become available. Thanks! Andy

Dears: I'm talking about one Date formated column. When my Parent cell has that formula and I have 4 children's (2 filled and 2 unfilled) the formula returns the MAX value between the 2 filled cells. Printing Schedules
How do I print a schedule showing the timescale only of when I start and finish the project? It always show some space before and after. Which limits the scale of the spreadsheet on size of paper.
