Functions for net present value / internal rate of return

Hi all, I want to do some financial calculations within smartsheet but I can't find functions that support the calculation of

 

• - net present value or

- internal rate of return

I haven't found hints neither in the smartsheet help for functions nor in the templates or here in the community. Anybody had the same problem and already found a solution?

It has been awhile since I had to calculate NPV so I had to look it up! But I dont see why this cannot be done in Smartsheet. Smartsheet supports all the functions, you just need to put them all together and build the formula yourself (unless I am missing something?). 

 

NPV = {Net Period Cash Flow/(1+R)^T} - Initial Investment

 

Is there are specific part of NPV and IRR that you find you cannot do in SS?
