URL for Folder / Folder URL
After seaching I did not find reference to this topic...
So, in support of a highly organized system (using workspaces w/ folders), well-documented work processes and efficient execution of work tasks, it would be nice to link directly to a Smartsheet Folder using a URL. Is it possible to link directly to a folder located within a workspace using a URL without using API functionality?
What I know:
- 1. 'Properties/Workspace Propeties/Secure Sheet Link' provides URL for Workspaces
- 2. 'Properties/Folder Properties' DOES NOT provide a URL to the folder; instead, the 'Folder ID' is provided with reference to use with API
- Thanks in advance!

Good question! There is not currently a way to link to a folder. Just sheets and workspaces. I'll pass this request along to our Product team!

Here's how to get the URL for a particular folder:
Every sheet has its own URL. For example, I have a sheet "Request for Info" in a client folder "LastName, FirstName." The URL for that sheet is: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/home?lx=NcQD_jXFrR3r5cWuMtAHkg. The client folder has a Folder ID of 5153350569224068. If I replace the "lx=NcQD_jXFrR3r5cWuMtAHkg" part of the sheet URL with "=5153350569224068", I can link directly to the folder instead of linking to the specific sheet. Therefore, the folder URL is "https://app.smartsheet.com/b/home?=5153350569224068."
