Comments in Sights

Is there a way to pull comments into a sight? I am new at this and trying to create a dashboard and was hoping to use the comments field and pull it into the dashboard. I have tried to do it straight from the metrics widget but it won't let me select any comments. I have also tried to create a report but it doesn't recognize the column and won't allow me to pull it into the report. The other other alternative I can think of is to create a new column and title it comments, but that seems to defeat the purpose of having a comments column built in. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would also like access to be able to do this, because when I send an update request and people put comments into the sheet but do not actually have access to the sheet those comments will not show on Sights...
