Cannot embed Data Studio Report in Smartsheet Dashboard

Does anyone know if Looker Data Studio was removed from Smartsheet's allowable domain list for embedding? I was able to embed reports just a few months ago into a Smartsheet dashboard, and now when using either the embed code or embed URL, Smartsheet does not recognize the code.

Error returned: "We couldn't find any embeddable content from this link. Please check the link and try again"

Links that follow the pattern lookerstudio.google.com/embed/reporting/ are now able to be embedded in dashboards!

I haven't seen anything about that but I would recommend you reach out to Looker and see if they've changed anything on their end for what you're trying to do. That would be the most likely end to have changed something to where it no longer works.

Can someone from the Smartsheet team please reply:

@TJohnson same result here, Smartsheet is not recognizing the Looker Studio embed code or embed URL in the Smartsheet Dashboard web content widget.

Looker Studio embed code and URL works without any issues in other applications I use.

On a Smartsheet Dashboard I can add a shortcut link from the embed URL using the shortcut widget and it works as it is intended, but I can not embed Looker Studio into the Smartsheet dashboard using the web content widget, errors shown below.

Another Smartsheet article does not indicate whether or not the Looker Studio formerly known as Google Data Studio is an application that will work.

Thanks for alerting us that Data Studio has changed its URL to Looker Studio!

Data Studio is embeddable, yes, however Web Content Widgets have not yet been updated to allow the new domain of lookerstudio.google.com. The team is looking into this URL change and I should have an update for you soon.
