VLOOKUP in Contact Column Issues
I have a sheet using VLOOKUP to populate the email in the Contact Column. There is a notification workflow triggered when the email is populated. The formula is working well but the email is initially populating as plain text and triggering a notification and then, upon saving, the text converts to the contact email and triggers a second notification. Is there a way around this? See below for an example.

Change the trigger settings from "When triggered" to Hourly. That way the cell will already have updated itself by the time the trigger happens.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would think that would work in theory but I am getting an error when I try to trigger the automation to run hourly. I have looked into which workflows can't be run using hourly, daily or weekly triggers and mine does not seem to violate those rules but apparently I am missing something.

Can you show me how to create the Vlookup to put the email in the contact column? I'm struggling.
