Updating the Red or Green Status Column based on Dates from another column
I'm trying to create a formula that changes my status column to the red or green symbols.
I want to base it on my Renewal Date column.
I looked at some examples on the site, but wasn't able to get it to work on my sheet. I was trying to set up a formula around the following parameters..
If date is in the past turn status symbol Red.
If date is in the future, turn status symbol Green.
Thank you in advance for your help

Thank you Ray.
I was able to get the formula to work. However, is there a way for it to show the red or green symbol instead of the word "Red" or "Green"

Hi again,
I was able to figure this one out. I had the color name in all CAPS instead of just Red or Green.
Thank you!!
