@OshaK in this case I would suggest 2 options:

Option 1 is to remove the parent/child for each year, that way your dates run continuously.

Option 2 (which is the way I design my metric sheets) is to swap the dates and categories around i.e. have dates as columns and categories as rows.

I think both would work. Happy as I said to jump on a call if that speeds up the process.
