Formula for number

Hi. so we create unique numbers for each location BUT the locations are submitted through three different sheets. is there a way i can create a formula so that no number is every duplicated on each sheet? also, can i auto generate numbers using all of the sheets?

EX: building, space, and department sheet each have one submission received and i want numbers to be 1,2, and 3 so that there is not three number 1s or 2s or 3s since they are separate sheets

@Please help,

You could create a separate grid for use of populating auto-numbers. That way there will never be a duplicate.

You could also use a different prefix, suffix, or starting number for each grid to prevent duplicates.
