How do I stop the attachments panel from popping up every time I add an attachment to a row?

Please provide a screenshot of what you don't want popping up. How else would you attach something to your row without the attachment panel being there to allow you to attach?

HI - the screenshot you provided is what pops up. I don't want that to pop up. I can see the paper clip icon show up when I attach a file. I don't need the entire attachment panel to pop up.

You're confusing me. The paperclip icon on the row is grey when nothing is attached.

When you want to attach something you hit the paperclip icon and it HAS TO open up this window:

There's an "Attach Files to Row #" button at the bottom of that window. If this window did not pop up how the heck would you attach a file to the row then?

To answer your question, no there is no way around this because how else would you do it? Whatever other way you want it to be done you'll have to submit an Enhancement Request because this is the method we've been given to attach something to a row.

You probably mean when you drag and drop directly to a row.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea, and It would be an excellent addition to be able to enable/disable the "pop-up".

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.
