Insufficient Editor Permissions to Save

Hello,

I shared access with one of our managers to edit a cell in a report. The manager is on a free version of smartsheet and was able to access the report and edit the cell, but when they tried to 'save' the following error popped up. For the permissions, I am the Owner and the Manager is the Editor-can share. Any ideas why they cant save?

What are their permissions on the underlying sheet? They need to be able to edit that as well.

Oh.. they only had view access to the main Grid, but then editor access to a report I wanted them to use.

When working in reports, you will only have the lowest access given between the two.

Sheet = Viewer & Report = Viewer --> Viewer

Sheet = Editor & Report = Viewer --> Viewer

Sheet = Viewer & Report = Editor --> Viewer

They do go over that at some point, but it is only a single point in the middle of a lot of information and easy to miss.

In this particular instance, it is the ONLY point and kind of hard to miss since there is no other real info on either side of it. Haha.
