Finding the sheet that is linked to a form
Hi,
We currently have a form posted on our intranet but cannot locate the sheet that it is linked to. Is there a way to trace where the data is collected once the form is submitted?

@Ute,
Regarding your follow-up question: It will only work on sheets you own or are shared to.

Hi @Ute
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- Submit something through the form and then search for the sheet that was changed recently.
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Hi @Ute,
Unfortunately there's no way to tell. There's nothing on the form or in the URL to specify.
Would make for a great enhancement request!

Hi @Ute ,
You could do it the old fashioned way, like @Andrée Starå suggested...if you have a free text field enter something like "averyuniquevalue", then wait a couple minutes and then search for that value across all sheets.
I hope that helps.

Thank you for your suggestions. I did submit the form with a unique value and then searched for it. Unfortunately, the search found no matching values. Is it possible that the sheet might have been deleted while the form is still active?

Excellent! (that you submitted the enhancement request)
Happy to help!
No, if the sheet has been deleted, the form is deactivated.
Try looking for the sheet that has been updated, or try searching for the value again a little later.

Follow up question: Will the search only search sheets that I'm shared to or own or does it search all sheets in our account?
