How can I return my project sheet to a version before the changes were made by mistake?
I need to return changes made by mistake to a sheet.
By mistake, when editing my Project Settings, the dates recorded for my project were changed to the dates of other columns.
I need to recover the dates that I registered for.
How can I return my project sheet to a version before the changes were made by mistake?I know there is a change log and all the responses point me to that log. What I am looking for is to recover my information without having to redo my sheet.

You can contact Smartsheet support and they can pull a previous version depending on when they last have it saved. If the lines you lost were just added today as well I don't believe they would have it. One thing to note is they will send you the file as a CSV and you would have to import it to Smartsheet so any formulas or formatting wouldn't carry over.
You can also view the activity log and it should show what has changed and the rows could be recreated.
I would definitely recommend setting up reoccurring backups on your side as well that way at least once a week there is a backup you have easy access to. https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/506499-back-up-your-data?_ga=2.263348940.1385490990.1676986987-83855926.1669730679&_gl=1*mqvgie*_ga*ODM4NTU5MjYuMTY2OTczMDY3OQ..*_ga_ZYH7XNXMZK*MTY3NzE3OTYyMi42MS4xLjE2NzcxODIxMjEuNy4wLjA.#toc-schedule-weekly-recurring-backups

Thank you very much, Colleen, you are very kind.
I wrote to Smartsheet support, as you recommend.
Hopefully Smartsheet will consider a tool to reverting changes to sheets. It had never happened to me before that I lost so much information simply by updating the Project Setting. Surely I will have to rebuild all the work of the week.

If you are on one of the supported plans, I would also recommend scheduling recurring backups. I know it can be frustrating to see everything get messed up, and I agree that some of the roll back last action features could use some improvement. Happy to be of assistance!
