Real-Time Timeline Chart

Hi Everyone,

Did anyone try to create a real-time timeline of the project status on the dashboard? - not necessary this template but any to track project completion status

What I would do in this instance is set up a Report in Gantt View that is filtered to show the important rows / milestones. Then you can add this Report to the Dashboard in a Report Widget:

If you want to add details about each milestone or task, you could then use Rich Text widgets for descriptions, or Metric Widgets if you preferred to show real-time data in that format:

Do you know how to highlight today's date on the gantt chart/timeline?

Hi @maltaee

There currently isn't a way to "highlight" the one column with Today's date in the Gantt view. However you could use Conditional formatting if you wanted to highlight a row in the sheet (which would roll up to the Report).
