Is anyone else finding that the search function has stopped providing all available results?
I used to get all results from every sheet but now I'm only seeing a few. Photos below

yes, the result in the second screen shot is in the Approved Orders sheet, not the TPS Defect Tracker. Shouldn't the search results bring up all instances of that number?

Have you tried using an asterisk before and after *508617* to indicate wildcards for the search results?

yes, the wild card result returned nothing

I am not able to replicate that. I have spread the same number out across multiple test sheets with different formatting to include 123-456-789, just 456, and -456-, and it will still find all instances in all sheets when I search for 456.
What is your sharing permission level on the sheet that is not being found in the search results?
@Genevieve P. Do you possibly have any insight? Could it possibly be a time-out issue?

I've seen this happen before when the content has been recently added to the sheet. It can take 10 minutes for all of the new data to be indexed in Search.
If you search the same number today, are you seeing the same limited results?

I ran the search again today and it pulled up the Approved Orders sheet this time. I have Admin access on all of these sheets but the Owner was also having the same issue yesterday. My Smartsheet app updated last night and I'm guessing that has something to do with it.
