repetitive work

Hello - I manage a small team that does work that occurs on a 30-day timeline with certain milestones within that timeline. I want to create a tracker, but I don't want to add the steps each time. I would like to obtain updates twice a week, but only for the next one or two steps in the process. Does someone have a good idea of how I would set this up? Thank you!
