Any material for Smartsheet vs ServiceNow SPM

Hi All,

Does anyone have some info or resource on why go for smartsheet over SPM? Integration is possible, but i've been asked to justify it. Personally the UI of SPM is not great for me. Smartsheet is more user friendly. i like the automation of smartsheet (SPM has this too) and to be honest, i've been using it for a while and would quite like to continue.

The above is not really a strong justification, so any help ould be massively appreciated.

IT depends on what you need it for. If it is HR I'd recommend against Smartsheet as it's difficult to integrate into other processes. However, for workflow, productitivty, and project management you can use WorkApps or dashboards to replicate almost anything you need.

I actually saw this previously but didn't respond as I don't have any experience with ServiceNow. I did go to their website and sign up for a demo so I can ask some questions about it though. Haha.

The best input I can give at this point is that the only real justification is that Smartsheet is awesome.

I have also been exploring SmartSheet, a lightweight and modern User Interface that can effectively cater to the project management needs of large enterprises. 

My goal is to find APIs from SmartSheet that can enable seamless two-way integration with ServiceNow. This will help teams within organizations collaborate better on projects, irrespective of the platform being used (SmartSheet, ServiceNow, Microsoft, etc.). 

ServiceNow already has an excellent integration with Microsoft projects, which allows teams to choose between Microsoft and ServiceNow according to their preference. I am working towards building a similar integration between SmartSheet and ServiceNow, and I would appreciate any API details that you may have.
