Hi @heyjay
I hope you're well and safe!
I've never seen that message. Is that a Smartsheet message, or could it be an internal IT message?
If you haven't already, I recommend submitting a support ticket through the new Smartsheet Support Portal.
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
Best,

Hiya! Just jumping in here to clarify.
There is currently a limit of 2000 characters that can be sent out in the body of an automated alert. You can see the full message from within Smartsheet in the bell icon.
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hi @heyjay
My apologies, you are correct, I was working off of outdated information. The limit of 2000 characters also applies in-app. You'll need to pair down the content in the message in order for it to appear in the email.
As an alternative, you could add some content in cells in the sheet and then include those fields in the email.
Cheers,
Genevieve

I'm also having this issue. Breaking text up into mulitple cells still truncates the email.
I'm basically looking for a big block of text from multiple cells to spit out depending on the workflow conditions.
I had originally looked at generating a pdf using document builder but the pdf was difficult/cumbersome to copy and paste. Any other suggestions to achieve this?
