How to return the value of another sheet cell, taking into account, values in 2 other cells & sheet?

Hi Paul.
So yes in that case, like mentioned in the previous comments, the returned value is blank when using the IF(ISNUMBER([Test ID]@row), "NUMBER") formula with the auto-number column.
The return value is NUMBER when using an actual Text/number column.
-
And that is the case on BOTH sheets (for the auto-number column)?
-
Yes correct.

So we have confirmed that we are searching for text values within text values and even tried "hard coding" in a text value for matching.
If even this one gave a #NO MATCH error
=INDEX({Sheet B Checkbox Column}, MATCH("004", {Sheet B Test ID}, 0))
then the only other thing left is to triple check that your cross sheet references are set up appropriately. If they are in fact set up appropriately then I would suggest reaching out to Support as it seems there may be a bug on the back-end.

Okay so it works now but only if I manually check the box.
I have an automation that is supposed to check the box in Sheet B if certain conditions are met but with the formula (in Sheet A), the automation seems broken and I only have #NOMATCH still. This in both sheets.
-
That's odd. The way the box is being checked should not have an impact on the MATCH portion. I would suggest reaching out to support to see if they can provide any insight.

Thank you Paul. I've really appreciated your help for the past weeks.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Please feel free to update this thread with Support's response.
