@ mention Question when replying to to a thread

If I send an @mention to three people, and if each person responds via Email...do all Three people get notified of all responses every time someone in the group responds?

I haven't tested it in quite some time, but I am fairly certain the only person that gets notified of a response is the original "mentioner". The others would need to also be @mentioned in the response.
