Create a column attribute such that when selected only the sheet admins can see the column. For complex pages this will allow admins to work without disrupting general users, and admins won’t need to constantly worry about hiding and un-hiding columns. It would also allow admins to collocate related helper columns within the general sheet structure in a way that makes sense to them without having to worry about about confusing customers.
I need help enabling column-wise restrictions in some of my sheets. (Suppose I have a sheet with columns 1 to 10, also I have 5 users with Editor-Can share access. Assume User1 needs to access only columns-1 to 4, User2 needs to access and edit only columns 5-6, User 3 needs to access and edit only column 7, User 4 needs to access and edit only columns 8-9, User 5 needs to access and edit only the Column 10, Consider we have a separate sheet owner and Admin. As their access, we cannot share with these daily users. Could you please advise, like this column-wise restriction can we enable it as a new idea in smartsheet? I will be awaiting to hear from you. Your response will be appreciated.
