JOIN 2 numbers and maintain formatting

I want to join 2 numbers that are being calculated in column formulas into one cell to create the accepted range. On the columns where the numbers are being calculated, I have removed decimal places and added the thousand separator, but i cannot get the formatting to carry over when I join the numbers in one cell.

The screenshot is what it looks like currently. What I would like it to look like when the numbers are joined is "4,453 - 5,351".

=ROUND([Column1]@row, 0) + " - " + ROUND([Column2]@row, 0)
