when using "save as new" on my project template I lose my cross sheet references
when using "save as new" on my project template I lose my cross sheet references, even though I select the "cell links and cross sheet references" in the data and formatting options. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @Bwoods113
I hope you're well and safe!
What is the template? Sheet, Folder, Workspace? Does not any of the cell links or cross-sheet formulas stay?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

It is a folder I am saving as new, in my project tracking workspace. I am losing some formulas on some other sheets too. I cant find a pattern to it I am just losing data when I do the save as new.

Strange!
Can you share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.

As I was creating screenshots I think I figured it out. When I leave in some of the test data, they copy over fine. I went through and blanked out all the cells in an effort to make a clean slate for the template (this is the problem). I input numbers into all the cells that have references and the references copy over just fine now. Thank you for your reply, I wanted to post this in case anyone else has this in the future and comes across this discussion.
