Fill field with date when condition is met

I'm looking for a way, either using a formula in the sheet or through automation, that would populate a cell with the date when a related cell (Status) changes to "Complete". Is this possible? e.g. If [Status] = "Complete" then [Date Completed] = date

Yes, you can use a Workflow combined with the Record a Date Action to record the date when the status changes.
