How to See Who is in your sheet?

in Smartsheet Basics

In a particular sheet, myself (owner) and another team member (shared to edit-share) were in the file at the same time but neither of us saw each others profile initials/pic in the right-hand corner indicating we were in the file. I have seen this work with other files and people. What drives this to not show at times?

    Did you confirm via the Activity Log that both of you were on at the same time?

    The sheets should show you both online at the same time, if you are both active on the sheet simultaneously.

    I didn't check that because I was testing this live - we were in the same file together and didn't see our profiles at the top of the screen.
