How do I update the Parent Cell so that anytime one of the candidates (listed in the Child Cells)...
is marked as "Hired" as the Status, it then doesn't count that row? For reference, see the first Parent Column "Accounting - 3 Openings" - however, there is only 1 opening that doesn't have the status as hired and it's not showing that...I tried to add conditional formatting to change the row to "Green" if status is Hired - I want it to do that and then only count the only open one left. For instance, below under Accounting, 2/3 are Green - meaning Hired. 2 out of 3 roles were filled; therefore, I want it to say 1 opening. I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Hi @Destiny Q
I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this.
="Accounting - " + COUNTIFS(CHILDREN(), <>"", CHILDREN(Status@row), <>"Hired") + " openings"
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
