When I have someone submit a project request it generates an automated number after submission. How can I notify the person who submitted the request what the assigned project number is without sharing the whole worksheet that data is collected at. Only what they submitted.

You would need to collect their email address on the form. Then you can set up an automated alert to send to the user when the auto-number column updates.
