Use the End date in reports and still have dependencies enabled

Hello Community - I am working on a huge project. Every department will have their report coming from our Master sheet. I work in Manufacturing and sometimes projects start but are put on hold and the end date shifts back.

Is there a way to be able to use the End date in reports and still have dependencies enabled? When I hover over the end date it's giving me a Fx for a formula column and will only allow me to change the date on the main page. Or is there a work around? Any help is very much appreciated as I have a week until my deadline and just now discovered this.

@Andrée Starå Any idea if Zapier would have an automating solution that I could have work in the background to help update the end dates?
