Copy Target Date into a Locked Column on the Same Sheet

Hello!

I need to automatically copy over the target due date when initially entered into another column that is locked so that employees cannot change the initial target due date they entered. Is this possible in Smartsheet?

Andree, Would this be automatic or everytime I need a new value date recorded I would have to type in the formula?

It would be Automatic once on each row, but it could also be structured to keep it updated if the date changes.

Would that work?

I would like it to be automatic. I am having trouble creating this equation though, can you provide an equation for me based on the table provided above?
